#26 Monkey and Candy! (1) - Red Robin (Escondido, CA)

We took a trip to Red Robin today so I could redeem my free birthday burger.  I have to say, I really like the Claw Machine at Red Robin.  For 50 cents a try, not only does it give you a chance at winning a stuffed animal, you ALWAYS win some candy! Granted, this is pretty cheap candy, but everyone's a winner regardless.

Today, I won a little monkey on the 2nd try! "Yes!" I said as the claw dropped the monkey into the prize chute.  And I did a little fist pump.  A dad walked by as I was doing it, and I must have made it look pretty easy (although a lot of it was just being there at the right time.  The monkey's head was completely up and was a prime opportunity and I grabbed it, no pun intended), because afterward when  I returned to our table to eat, I saw that dad put in dollar after dollar to try to win something for his kid.  At least he got a handful of candy out of it.
