#40 Cheap ugly green dog (1) - old spaghetti factory (San Marcos, ca)

Today the Hubby's cousins came to visit and we went to the old spaghetti factory for dinner. While we were eating, the hubby mentioned there was a game room in the restaurant and a claw machine. My nephew said that all the claw machines were rigged and we chucked and said that not ALL machines were rigged.

After we ate, we headed to the game room and have the cost machine a try. I ended up winning this ugly green dog on the second try. This is just another example of how after you play these machines for a while you're really trying to win for pride and not the prize!

#38, #39 Hello kitty giraffes (2) - Westfield Mall (Carlsbad, CA)

Today we found a claw machine that was low on stuffed animals...making the prizes ripe for the picking! Easy pickings! We won two hello kitty giraffes!! That's right, we spent $3 winning stuffed animals from the machine and then blew another $12 on cheapy games and winning tickets for cheapy prizes.  That equates to $12 for a hackey sack and two plastic bracelets.  This is why my personal preference is the claw machine. So much more bang for the buck.
